Jared Winslow is a Street Photographer based out of Brooklyn, New York, who is captivated by scenes of life. He’s always been a curious observer, loving to search for the beauty in the mundane, which has lead to his genuine pursuit of photography. He was raised in Rhode Island, and while he loves where he came from, he had a hunger and curiosity for what life in the big city had to offer, so he made the move to New York in June of 2023.
What once started as a hobby, has since turned into so much more. For him, walking the streets of with his camera has been his favorite way to escape, reconnect, express himself, and tell stories. It’s a form of therapy.
Jared has had the pleasure of being a volunteer photographer for WaterFire Providence during the 2018-2019 season, and being featured in pvdmonthly, Rhode Island Monthly, HeyRhody Magazine, and Motif. He was also a moderator for Providence’s first photography meetup group, Instameetpvd.
He hopes that by seeing the world through his eyes, it’ll make you stop every once in a while, and appreciate the beauty of life that’s right in front of us.
